Venus came into The Great Dane of the Commonwealth rescue with her sister Serena on August 24th 2014. They were both abandoned on a tennis court and left to fend for themselves. Thus their names Venus and Serena. They were kept together and slowly began to blossom. Venus and Serena were separated on Thursday August 28 so they would become stronger independent sweet girls. We believe them to be about 4 months old.
Venus met her fur foster sisters and bother and was very tentative. She slept through her first night with us with no problems. She is a tiny bag of bones and covered in bug bites. Despite her ruff start to life she is a very sweet girl. We are going to give her all the love we can and build her confidence so that she will be the bouncing fun loving puppy that we know she can be.
